The Mimosa Bay Board currently has an opening for the ARC/ACMC Chair. Below is listed the necessary qualifications and description for this volunteer position.
Qualifications: An Architectural, construction or design background is desired. Extensive knowledge of the rules and regulations set forth in the governing Covenants and documents.
Purpose of the ARC/ACMC: To review all new homes or architectural improvement plans submitted by residents staying within the Covenants and Restrictions of Mimosa Bay.
Responsibility: To Treat all requests without bias or prejudice, respond to all requests in a timely manner and within the 45 day limit per the Covenants. Along with committee members, prepare monthly written reports on active and recently completed requests to the Mimosa Bay Board of Directors. Approval or denial of submissions stating reason(s) for decision in writing. Ensuring that all requests/submissions are within compliance of the restrictive Covenants, rules and regulations and the stormwater permits.
Reports to: The ACMC Committee Chair reports to the Board of Directors. ARC reports to the Developer/Board of Directors. This position is appointed by the Board of Directors annually, at a meeting of the Board.
